I'll have a couple of more Suldog-centric posts soon, after that more of my lame blogging. That would be quite a card! I find that as we get older it's a little easier for our trade partners to give us a helping hand in completing sets. I'm certain we can find you that elusive Jamie Quirk. I can't believe he wouldn't trade for those star players.

Speaking of trade partners:

Baseball Dad, Suldog has a nice read. I hope you like it. I'm hoping the Indians do well this year.

Barbara: I have no idea about the word verification. I actually didn't have word verification set up on my blog. Blogger did it for me recently. I need to fix it. I can't read those letters very well myself. Thanks for coming over to my little blog. You have a lot of nice photos on your blog.Jeremyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00458498962240003860noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6846005642525358665.post-88435693694333211962012-03-26T20:37:33.609-05:002012-03-26T20:37:33.609-05:00Came over from Suldog's because I love when bl...Came over from Suldog's because I love when bloggers connect like this - and I know what a generous soul he really is under all the barnacles he pretends to wear. Not so much interested in cards, but I do love your header and love the trade-off! (PS - please turn your word verification off. It keeps rejecting me but I'll keep trying...)Barbarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11074104063769255190noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6846005642525358665.post-6879038916191043032012-03-26T19:07:21.855-05:002012-03-26T19:07:21.855-05:00Great cards! Thurman Munson is my all-time favorite player. One of the few things Sully and I disagree in is pretty much everything about sports teams. He's Boston, I'm a New Yorker. Nuff said about that.

I collected cards in the 70's, and one year my best friend and I were trying to see who could get the complete 1978 Topps set first. I was only Jamie Quirk away, and my buddy had like FIVE of them and refused to trade. I'm sure Mr. Quirk would've been thrilled to know that a guy refused to trade him for Pete Rose, Rod Carew, and two Nolan Ryans.Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14794712479594188124noreply@blogger.com
